Flowers

After looking at spiral springs, I decided to look at the season spring and found an interest with flowers. Flowers begin to blossom as spring arrives, opening up bigger as the season goes by. Many of different, bright and beautiful colours and sizes to put a smile on peoples faces. Also helps to brighten up moods after the cold weathers of winter.

Spring - the meaning…

To begin the project, i begun by looking at the different meanings of ‘spring’ :

Spring (noun) = flexibility, bounce, resilience, elasticity, buoyancy

Spring (verb) = jump, bound, leap, bounce, vault often with from = originate, come, derive, start. issue, proceed, arise, stem

Spring (season) There are four kinds of seasnons throughtout the year =

  • Autumn (September - November)
  • Winter (December - February)
  • Spring (March - May)
  • Summer (June - August)

Spring is known to be the season after winter, where temperature begins to rise and flowers and trees begin to blossom. For most people, the spring season is a chance to create a fresh, re-energised start. For example, creating new goals, maintain a healthier life or even making changes to your personality. These changes may be caused from the change of atomsphere as spring brings posivtive changes which can make people think a more healthier and positive attitude.

Unit 2 - Toys

After reading the brief, I first thought to myself “is it actually possible to invent a toy for adults?” then i thought again, no matter how old or mature you are, theres always a child in all of us, always ready to be excited, amused and jolly. Perhaps I should start by looking back at when I was a child and what toys i found so amusing and why. Do these old toys still amuse me today?
